BYSS - the Soccer-App for Kids goes into the next round

Making it as a professional. Many children dream of making a career as a footballer with one of the big clubs. A dream that is within reach for many kids thanks to the BYSS football app. Together with former professional footballer Francis Kioyo, the homepoint group has developed an app that provides children with first-class as well as individual football training. After the development of a prototype, the football app is now going into the next round.

BYSS - built your sport story

In search of sponsors, the group is embarking on the first fundraising round together with the former striker (1. FC Köln, TSV 1860 München). The goal is to be ready for the market in two years, with the intention of getting kids fit through sport.

BYSS offers holistic, professional training that promises above all fun and rapid progress. Among other things, moves, training procedures and game routines are explained in the form of videos. Real-time monitoring of the current training status is also planned. Special jerseys and shoes are being developed for this purpose, which transmit the exercises performed to the app thanks to integrated sensors. An AI immediately evaluates the completed units and provides feedback. Was the slalom drill good? Is there room for improvement in the coordination drill? In this way, each child receives individually tailored training that suits their strengths and weaknesses.

Digital football training that's fun

But it is not only the quality of the training that distinguishes the app; other aspects also play an important role. In BYSS, for example, the kids get tips on healthy eating or motivation. Within the app, the children can also create their own avatars, which provide a playful component. Rewards await for special mileage pages, such as digital jerseys, trophies or other awards. To promote worldwide sporting competition, the best kids also get the opportunity to take part in a face-to-face training session with Francis Kioyo.

It is planned to implement the app for Android and iPhone. The aim is to reach 100 million children in 70 countries. In the future, the concept will be transferred to other sports. From basketball to skateboarding, tennis to baseball, athletics or cricket - the possibilities are endless.
